Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 ml whole milk or semi-skimmed milk
  • 25 g spelt semolina
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar, preferably homemade or bourbon vanilla sugar
  • n. B. sugar or cane sugar, possibly brown
  • n. B. Fresh fruit (e.g. peaches, pears, etc.)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

with fresh fruit

Wash, peel, and finely chop the fresh fruit, depending on the variety. Bring the milk to a boil in a saucepan, add the spelt semolina and vanilla sugar, and let it swell. Add a little more sugar or cane sugar if desired. Sprinkle the fruit over the finished porridge and stir in if desired. Tips: You can decorate the porridge with fruit and perhaps brown (cane) sugar. Some people also like to simply sprinkle the porridge with cinnamon and sugar. This is also a delicious alternative. Sugared plums, for example, would go well with it.
