Coconut-almond balls

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 m.-sized eggs
  • 25 g powdered sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 g desiccated coconut
  • 50 g almonds, ground
  • 1 tbsp, heaped quark

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Crack eggs into a bowl. Stir in powdered sugar and salt, then fold in desiccated coconut and almonds. Stir in quark, form the mixture into small balls, and place them on a prepared baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (convection oven) for approximately 10-12 minutes. Allow to cool and store in an airtight container until ready to eat. This recipe yields 25 small balls with only 1g of sugar per ball, making them ideal as a snack or for munching.
