Garlic potatoes

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • salt and pepper
  • 120 ml cream
  • 120 ml milk
  • 150 g cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Boil and peel the potatoes. Let cool, then cut into cubes. Layer half of the potatoes in a baking dish. Season generously with salt and pepper. Crush half of the garlic cloves and sprinkle over the potatoes. Sprinkle some grated cheese over the potatoes. Add the other half of the potatoes, season with salt and pepper, and crush the remaining garlic cloves and sprinkle on top. Pour the cream and milk mixture over the potatoes and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake in the oven at 160°C (fan oven) for about 20-30 minutes, until the cheese is lightly browned.
