Sausage salad with peppers and tomatoes

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g meat sausage in one piece
  • 500 g tomatoes
  • 3 bell peppers, red, yellow and green
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • Vinegar
  • Sugar
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Slice the tomatoes, place them in a bowl, and season with salt. Let them marinate. Remove the skin from the sausage, halve the sausage lengthwise, and cut into thin slices. Slice the bell peppers. Slice the onion. Mix a generous amount of vinegar, oil, salt, pepper, and a little water together in a marinade, then add a little sugar to create a slightly sweet and sour seasoning. Add all ingredients to the marinade and mix well. The salad should marinate thoroughly.
