Cucumber salad with mozzarella and onions

Halve the cucumbers and remove the seeds with a teaspoon. Slice or grate. Then add salt and let stand. Meanwhile, halve the onion and slice it into thin rings. Place the onions in a separate bowl and cook with the vinegar, oil, and the remaining ingredients. Let stand so the onions can soften a little. Now cut the mozzarella into thin slices and then into strips. When the cucumbers have run out of water and the dressed onion has softened a little, squeeze the water out of the cucumbers and add everything together.
