Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 small carrot(s), grated
- 1 medium-sized apple, grated
- 1 tsp lemon juice OR:
- 2 tsp apple juice
- 3 tbsp cream (oat cream or whipping cream)
- ½ cup water, hot, approx.
- 8 tbsp oat flakes
- 1 tsp raw cane sugar or honey, if desired
- some nuts, chopped if needed
- 1 pinch of sweet spice mix*
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Raw food breakfast, warmed by hot flakes poured over it
Grate the carrots and apple, drizzle with lemon juice. Place the oat flakes in a bowl and pour over hot water. Stir to coat all the flakes. Stir in the raw cane sugar and oat cream. Add the fruit mixture. Of course, you can also use a spicy mix with just a pinch of raw cane sugar; then it’s a savory breakfast. If you’re short on time, you can grate the carrots in the evening, drizzle with lemon juice, and cover. The rest is done in the morning.
