Baked Camembert with pears and cranberries

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 Camembert(s), at least 45% fat
  • 1 ½ pears, soft
  • 1 ½ tbsp walnut kernels, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp thyme, chopped
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper from the mill
  • 2 tbsp, sautéed cranberries from the jar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Wash the pears, remove the stems and cores, and slice them. Gently mix the lemon juice, honey, nuts, thyme, and pears. Season with salt and pepper. Place the Camemberts in an ovenproof dish. Spread the pear mixture around the pear mixture. Stir the cranberries until smooth and scatter over the top. Place in the hot oven and bake for 12 minutes. Then score the surface of the Camemberts crosswise with a sharp knife, carefully fold the corners outward, and continue baking for 8-10 minutes. Serve with baguette rolls or baguette bread.
