Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg carrot(s)
- 700 g potatoes
- 2 liters of water
- 3 tsp, heaped salt
- some flour
- 750 g bratwurst, coarse
- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Peel the carrots and cut into thick slices. Peel, wash, and quarter the potatoes. Boil the carrots and potatoes in 2 liters of salted water. Shortly before the end of the cooking time, coat the sausages in flour and fry them in a pan with oil until crispy and brown. When the potatoes and carrots are tender, drain the water and mash everything. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with the cooked sausages.
