Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g margarine
  • 300 g sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 4 m.-sized eggs
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 350 ml eggnog
  • 150 g chocolate sprinkles
  • some breadcrumbs for the mold
  • Margarine for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Grandma’s Best, with eggnog and chocolate sprinkles

Combine the margarine, sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs in a mixing bowl. Beat with a mixer until fluffy. Add the flour and baking powder, fold in carefully, and then mix everything together. Stir in the egg liqueur and chocolate sprinkles. Preheat the oven to 160°C (fan). Grease a 26cm springform pan with a ring insert with margarine and spread the breadcrumbs evenly. Now pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan, spread evenly, and place in the oven. Bake for approximately 45 minutes. Do the skewer test. If nothing sticks, the cake is done.
