Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 liter vegetable broth
- 1 liter beef broth
- 200 ml cream
- 5 tbsp flour
- 1 pack of meatballs or mini meatballs, approx. 500 g or as desired
- 200 g smoked bacon cubes, optional
- 300 g buttered vegetables
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 pinch of chili flakes
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp parsley, chopped, frozen
- possibly sauce thickener, light
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Combine the vegetable and beef broth and heat together. Combine the cream and flour to thicken the broth. Once boiling, add the meatballs or patties, followed by all the other ingredients. Bring to a boil until thickened. If desired, add a little light sauce thickener. Season to taste with salt and pepper. This dish is delicious with pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
