Fruity cheese rolls

Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 1 pack of filo or yufka dough, 250 g, from the refrigerated section
  • 300g Camembert(s)
  • 4 tbsp apricot jam
  • 1 dashes lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp rosemary needles
  • 1 egg(s), separated
  • 1 tbsp milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

as a finger food side dish for the party buffet

Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat, fan oven: 160°C). Prepare the pastry according to the package instructions. Finely dice the Camembert and mix with the apricot jam and a squeeze of lemon juice. Roughly chop the rosemary sprigs. Halve the pastry sheets. Place 2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture on each of the bottom thirds of the pastry. Brush the top third with egg white, then fold in the sides and roll up the pastry. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Whisk the egg yolk with the milk, brush the rolls with it, sprinkle with the rosemary, and bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
