- 500 g veal liver sausage
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 1 large apple, peeled, pitted, finely chopped
- 1 cup of cream
- 1 pinch(s) of pepper
- 5 gherkins, finely chopped
- 1 bunch chives, in rolls

Combine all ingredients and let it sit for a while (preferably overnight). Tastes great on rolls, baguettes, farmhouse bread, etc. It also works well at a brunch buffet. Tip: It also tastes good with some country liver sausage.
