Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 200 g bacon, cut into thin slices (tranches)
- 1.2 kg potatoes, waxy
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ bunch thyme
- some salt and pepper

Drizzle olive oil onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and thyme leaves. Set the oven to 200°C. Wash the potatoes, peel if necessary, and halve them lengthwise. Wrap a slice of bacon around each potato half and place cut-side down on the baking sheet. Bake the potatoes in the lower half of the oven for about 20 minutes.
