Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg minced meat, mixed
  • 1 large egg(s)
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 75 g butter
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • Pepper from the mill
  • 1 tsp, leveled cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp sweet paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Peel the onion and garlic and finely dice. Melt the butter and fry the diced garlic until translucent. Combine the minced meat, egg, and spices. Add the diced onion and garlic and mix quickly. Refrigerate the minced meat mixture for about 2 hours to allow the butter to fully solidify. Form small meatballs from the dough and fry them on all sides in a pan without fat. I recommend serving with: tzatziki, coleslaw, fries, and ajvar.
