Baked cauliflower with ham

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 m.-large cauliflower
  • 100 g smoked ham, diced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup of cream, approx. 200 g
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

without cheese

Wash the cauliflower, cut into small florets, and blanch for 8 minutes. Drain and keep warm. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a pan and fry the ham until golden brown. Add the cauliflower florets and season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix in the parsley. Place everything in a baking dish. Pour the cream over the mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 20 minutes. Serve warm with a side dish of your choice. No cheese is used here; it’s simply baked with cream.
