Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g pear(s)
  • 200 ml white wine (Riesling, semi-dry)
  • 1 tbsp elderflower syrup
  • 350 g gelling sugar 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

A quick and easy jam with an exceptional flavor! Here’s how to make it: Peel and core the pears, then cut them into small cubes. Add the Riesling and elderflower syrup and puree everything until smooth. Then stir in the gelling sugar and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Boil the jam for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Once it’s set, pour it into boiled jars, screw on the lids tightly, and turn them upside down for about 5 minutes. The specified amount is enough for about 3 medium-sized jam jars (375 g each). Another delicious addition: add a little mint or garnish with rosemary. Enjoy!
