The ultimate chocolate chip cookies

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 115 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 110 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 100 g chocolate
  • 160 g flour

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 11 minutes; Total time approx. 26 minutes

Place the butter in a saucepan or pan and let it brown. Then transfer the butter to a bowl and let it cool for 5-10 minutes. During this time, roughly chop the chocolate. Add both types of sugar to the still warm butter and mix everything well with a spatula. Add the egg, salt, and baking soda and mix everything again until you have a smooth mixture. Finally, add the flour and chopped chocolate and mix everything until the flour is no longer visible. Using an ice cream scoop or 2 tablespoons, shape the cookies into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving plenty of space between them (always 4 cookies to a sheet). Bake in an oven preheated to 175°C (top/bottom heat) for about 11 minutes on the middle rack. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 10 minutes, as they will still be very soft after baking. Serve with a glass of milk or a scoop of ice cream.
