Acili Ezme – Turkish Side Dish for Pan-fried Meat

  • 2 Pc. Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Paprika pulp
  • Alternatively tomato paste
  • 0,5 Pc. Red peppers
  • 1 tbsp Pomegranate syrup
  • 1 tbsp Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 pinch Sea salt from the mill
  • 1 pinch Black pepper from the mill
  • 1 pinch Ground cumin
  • 1 pinch Sumac
  • 1 pinch Peppermint fresh
  • 1 pinch Crushed red pepper
  • 2 tbsp Chopped parsley until smooth
  • 2 Pc. Mild hot peppers
  • 1 Pc. Diced shallot
  • 1 Pc. Garlic clove chopped
  1. Wash vegetables dry, wash parsley and shake dry, chop. Core the tomatoes, bell peppers and peppers and cut into small pieces.
  2. Add the small shallot and garlic cubes as well as paprika pulp, pomegranate syrup and lemon juice, mix everything well. Now season with the spices to your own taste and season to taste.
  3. It should be slightly spicy. If you don’t like or tolerate that, you just don’t season so much. With the mint it is very refreshing and also goes well with the barbecue season.
