Advent Bundt Cake

The perfect advent bundt cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 tsp Ground carnations
  • 1 tsp Ground ginger
  • 1 tsp Rosemary needles finely chopped and ground in a mortar
  • 1 tsp Make star anise
  • 100 g Chopped almonds
  • 0,3 liter Milk
  • 60 g Unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 300 g Flour 405
  • 4 piece Eggs
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 125 g Soft butter
  • 3 tbsp Walnut liqueur own production
  1. Mix the butter, sugar and eggs until frothy.
  2. Add baking powder, flour, milk, cocoa, spices / rosemary and liqueur. Mix everything into a smooth dough.
  3. Then stir in the chopped almonds.
  4. Pour the batter into a bundt pan. Bake in the electric oven preheated to 175 degrees, lower shelf, for approx. 60 min with top / bottom heat.
  5. Let the cake cool down and, if you like, dust with powdered sugar.
