Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g sugar
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 6 chocolate mint bars
  • 230 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • possibly icing or chocolate
  • some liqueur (mint liqueur), possibly

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 12 minutes

Sift together the flour and baking powder and mix with the cocoa. Cut the chocolate-mint bars into small pieces with a sharp knife and mix with the sugar and butter. Then add the egg yolk. Finally, add the flour mixture and knead into a dough. Let it rest in the refrigerator for about 2-3 hours. Then roll out the dough and cut out shapes using the desired cutter. Preheat the oven to 160°C (fan oven). Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for about 10-12 minutes. Decorate the cookies with icing or chocolate, if desired. If you like, you can add a little mint liqueur to the icing or chocolate for decoration.
