Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 600 g strawberries
  • 1 pkt. puff pastry, round for a 28 cm tin
  • 2 tbsp jelly (ginger)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 egg whites
  • 100 g sugar
  • Fat, for the shape

Place the puff pastry in a greased 28 cm pie dish and bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 10 minutes. Hull and rinse the strawberries, then bring to a boil with the jelly and lemon juice for about 1 minute. Thicken with the cornstarch. Spread the mixture over the puff pastry. Beat the egg whites until stiff, then drizzle in the sugar. Spread the beaten egg whites over the strawberries and bake for about 15 minutes. Tip: Serve garnished with powdered sugar, mint, and strawberry slices.
