  • 2 tsp, heaped baking powder
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 tsp, leveled vanilla powder
  • 125 g quark
  • 125 g butter
  • 15 g semolina
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 orange(s), zest
  • 1 lemon(s), zest

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours

Knead the flour with the baking powder, sugar, vanilla, quark, butter, eggs, semolina, and zest of the nuts into a smooth dough. Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes, then roll out on a floured surface and cut out shapes. Bake the cookies at 185°C (365°F) for about 10-15 minutes, depending on their thickness, until golden brown.
