Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 200 g flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 4 tbsp oil
- 125 ml buttermilk
- 200 g bacon cubes
- 2 onions
- 200 g sour cream
- 100 g cheese, grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
a kind of tarte flambée in Allgäu style
Combine flour and baking powder and add the remaining dough ingredients. Knead thoroughly and let rest for a while. Then roll out the dough into 4 thin flatbreads or one large one. Dice the onion, mix with diced bacon, sour cream, and grated cheese, and spread over the dough. Bake at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes. Enjoy with salad.
