Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 6 m.-sized eggs
- 360 g sugar
- 300 g butter, soft
- 3 bags of vanilla sugar
- 450 g flour
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- 1 tsp, leveled salt
- Fat for the mold
- 1 kg apples
- 300 g almond flakes
- 200 g butter
- 300 g sugar
- 3 tbsp milk or cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
Cake
Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Grease a baking sheet and dust with breadcrumbs. Beat the eggs with sugar and butter until fluffy. Mix in the salt, vanilla sugar, and flour with baking powder. Peel the apples and slice them. Spread the batter evenly on the baking sheet, top with the apple slices, and bake on the lowest rack for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a pan, stir in all the other topping ingredients, and bring the mixture to a boil while stirring continuously. Remove the cake from the oven, spread the topping on top, and bake for another 20 minutes.
