Almond Bars …

The perfect almond bars … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 125 g Marzipan raw mass
  • 2 Protein
  • 35 g Dried apricots
  • 35 g Pitted dates
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Honey liquid
  • 2 drops Bitter almond flavor
  • 1 Tablespoon (level) Flour
  • 150 g Ground almonds
  • 100 g Flaked almonds
  • 100 g Dark chocolate couverture
  • Sugar sprinkles
  1. Coarsely grate the marzipan. Mix with the egg white.
  2. Cut the apricots and dates into small pieces. Add the sugar, honey, bitter almond flavor and flour to the marzipan mixture and mix. Add ground almonds and knead everything.
  3. Shape the dough into sticks, roll them in the almond flakes and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
  4. Melt the couverture over a hot water bath. Brush the almond sticks with it. Spread the sugar sprinkles on top. Let dry.
