Almond Bars …
The perfect almond bars … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 125 g Marzipan raw mass
- 2 Protein
- 35 g Dried apricots
- 35 g Pitted dates
- 50 g Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Honey liquid
- 2 drops Bitter almond flavor
- 1 Tablespoon (level) Flour
- 150 g Ground almonds
- 100 g Flaked almonds
- 100 g Dark chocolate couverture
- Sugar sprinkles
- Coarsely grate the marzipan. Mix with the egg white.
- Cut the apricots and dates into small pieces. Add the sugar, honey, bitter almond flavor and flour to the marzipan mixture and mix. Add ground almonds and knead everything.
- Shape the dough into sticks, roll them in the almond flakes and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
- Melt the couverture over a hot water bath. Brush the almond sticks with it. Spread the sugar sprinkles on top. Let dry.
