Almond cream hearts

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 375 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 100 g almond(s), in flakes
  • 2 cups of cream
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 packs of cream stiffener

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cream together the butter, sugar, and salt. Slowly add the eggs and continue beating until the sugar has dissolved. Combine the flour and baking powder and stir in. Spread the batter on a baking sheet, sprinkle with flaked almonds and sugar, and bake at 200°C for 20-25 minutes. Cut out the hearts as large as possible and let cool. Whip the cream together with the cream stabilizer and vanilla sugar until stiff and fill into a piping bag. Halve the almond hearts crosswise and fill with the vanilla cream.
