Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 375 g flour
  • 80 g brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 125 g sour cream
  • 250 g butter, cold
  • Flour for the work surface
  • 2 tbsp whipped cream
  • 100 g sugar, coarse (granulated sugar)
  • 80 g almonds, chopped
  • Fat for the baking tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

makes 40 pretzels

Sift the flour onto a work surface, make a well in the center, and add the sugar, cinnamon, and sour cream. Place the butter in small pieces around the edge and quickly work everything in from the outside in until you have a smooth dough. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Divide the dough into 4 pieces, then cut each piece into 10 pieces. On a floured surface, shape each piece into a long, thin roll and form a small pretzel. Spread the pretzels with the whipped cream. Mix the granulated sugar with the chopped almonds and press the pretzels into the dough. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 10 minutes until golden brown. Let the finished pretzels cool on a wire rack.
