Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 3 egg whites
- 250 g sugar
- lemon peel
- 250 almonds, ground
- Almond(s), halved
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Beat egg whites and sugar until stiff. Add the almonds and lemon zest to the mixture. Form macaroons with 2 teaspoons and place on a baking sheet. Place the almond halves on top of the macaroons. Bake the macaroons for 20-25 minutes at 140°C (284°F).
