Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 m.-sized potatoes
  • 2 cup(s) peas
  • ¼ cup oil
  • 1 tsp fennel
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds, black
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp turmeric
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Spicy Indian potato and pea dish

Peel and dice the potatoes, and cook until soft, then drain and set aside. Heat the oil in a pan and add the fennel, mustard seeds, cumin, and turmeric. When the mustard seeds begin to pop, add the peas and potatoes and toss until the potatoes and peas are hot. Season with salt.
