Amarula Truffles
The perfect amarula truffles recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Also:
- 320 g Milk chocolate
- 100 ml Amarula
- 1 Plate 63 pieces Hollow balls of whole milk
- 300 g Whole milk couverture
- Chop the chocolate …. I had pellets boil the cream and pull it off the hotplate
- Melt the chocolate in the cream while stirring and let the mixture cool down and only then stir in the amarula
- Pour the mixture into the hollow body until it is just below the rim and refrigerate overnight
- the next day, chop the couverture and temper it over a water bath …. use it to seal the hollow bodies and let them solidify
- Temper the couverture again and cover the truffles with the couverture
- Let it dry a little and then roll it over a chocolate rack, then there’s the typical truffle tips
