Knead together sugar, flour, butter, and cinnamon and rub into crumbs. Spread on the batter. The batter should be completely covered in crumbs. Bake for 20-25 minutes. After a few minutes, carefully remove the finished muffins from the tin and let them cool on a wire rack lined with kitchen paper. The bottoms will be a little greasy.
