American Cookies Cream

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 200 g whipped cream
  • 250 g natural yogurt
  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 1 pack of cream stiffener
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 can peach(s)
  • 1 package of biscuits (Classic Cookies, 225 g with 40% chocolate)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Dessert or cake filling

Drain the peaches and cut into small pieces. Place the cookies in a freezer bag and crumble them. Whip the whipped cream with the cream stiffener and vanilla sugar until stiff. Mix the yogurt and quark together until smooth and season with a little sugar. Then carefully fold in the whipped cream first, then the peaches. Layer the mixture alternately with the cookie crumbs in a glass bowl, beginning and ending with the cookies. Refrigerate for a good 2 hours. If using the cream as a cake filling, you must wait 5-6 hours before cutting it; only then will the cream be firm enough. You can also swap the peaches for cherries or bananas, or try the dessert with speculaas biscuits and a sprinkle of cinnamon at Christmas time. For special occasions, you can also layer the dessert in glasses in portions.
