Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Add a little olive oil to a pan and spread it on the bottom with a brush. Wait until the pan is hot, then fry the bread in the olive oil on one side only until golden brown. Let the fried slices cool briefly, then spread two of them with a thin layer of basil pesto. Place a slice of ham on top of each slice. Set the other two slices of toast aside for now. Preheat the oven to 220°C. Mix the cocktail sauce by combining ketchup and mayonnaise to taste. Wash and trim the lamb’s lettuce. Fry the turkey breast strips in oil in a pan. Then place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and sprinkle with Gouda cheese. Place in the oven for about 10 minutes, until the cheese is lightly golden. Just before taking the turkey strips out of the oven, fry the bacon in a pan until crispy. Now sprinkle a little grated Gouda cheese on each ham, place the baked turkey strips on top, and spread some cocktail sauce on top with a small spoon. Add two strips of bacon, a little pizza seasoning, and chopped basil. Then add the thinly sliced tomatoes, some lamb’s lettuce, salt and pepper, and chili flakes, if desired. Cover the bread with the remaining two slices of toast and serve on plates with a knife and fork.
