Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g minced pork
- 250 g minced turkey
- 60 g onion(s), chopped
- 60 ml mango chutney
- 2 cloves garlic, small, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Cilantro leaves (fresh coriander), or the same amount of parsley
- 1 tsp curry powder, hot or mild
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 rolls (hamburger buns or bread rolls)
- Onion(s), thin rings or slices
- Cucumber(s), thin slices
- Tomato(s), slices
- Mango chutney
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Grin and Bear It Burgers
Combine the pork and salt ingredients (using a light touch). Divide the dressed meat into four pieces and form burgers (about 1/2″ thick). Grill them either on the grill (preferred), in a griddle pan, or, as we did, in the oven with top heat for about 5-6 minutes per side, until cooked through. Place in buns or rolls and let everyone garnish them themselves.
