Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 150 g walnuts, chopped
- 170 g flour
- 30 g cornstarch
- 30 g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp, leveled baking powder
- 120 g sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 egg(s)
- 125 ml milk
- 120 g butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Sift the flour, cornstarch, cocoa, and baking powder into a mixing bowl. Add the sugar, salt, egg, milk, butter, and walnuts. Blend with a mixer until dough forms. Drop the dough into small heaps using two teaspoons on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving enough space between each heap. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) or 160°C (fan oven) for about 15 minutes. Allow to cool after baking. Yields about 45 cookies. Can also be baked with almonds instead of walnuts.
