Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500g spaghetti
- 5 cloves garlic, fresh
- 2 tsp herbs de Provence (fresh or dried)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 peppers of your choice

Cook the spaghetti al dente according to the package instructions. Reserve 2-3 ladles of the cooking water and set aside. Peel the garlic and chop it finely along with the chili peppers in an electric grinder (you can also chop it by hand, of course). Heat the olive oil in a large pan and sauté the garlic and chili pepper mixture. Deglaze with the reserved pasta cooking water and add the cooked spaghetti. Simmer everything for about 4-5 minutes, until the water has completely evaporated. Finally, add the herbs and mix everything thoroughly. Serve hot.
