Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 1 tsp gingerbread spice
  • ½ tsp anise, ground
  • 2 tbsp beet syrup
  • 1 m.-sized egg(s)
  • 75 g sugar
  • 30 g lemon peel, finely chopped
  • 125 g butter
  • some sugar for sprinkling
  • 100 g cake icing (cocoa)
  • 100 g cake icing (whole milk)

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Makes about 60 cookies

Mix the first nine ingredients together and knead until smooth. Roll out the dough thinly and cut out leaves. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven (180°C, fan oven 160°C, gas mark 3) for about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with sugar, and let cool. Prepare the glaze according to the package instructions and coat the cookies with it. Let dry.
