Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 750 g potatoes
- 3 tomatoes
- 2 m.-sized onion(s)
- 2 stalk(s) leeks
- 1 bag(s) of cheese, grated
- 1 cup of cream
- Spice(s) of your choice and taste
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Peel and slice the potatoes. Wash and trim the tomatoes, leeks, and onions, and also slice or ring them. Layer half of the potato slices in a baking dish, then layer the tomatoes, leeks, and onions, along with the seasonings, and finally place the remaining potatoes on top. Spread the grated cheese over the potatoes and pour over the cream. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approximately 1-1.5 hours, depending on the potato variety (you may want to place baking paper over the casserole to prevent the cheese from overbrowning). Goes very well with schnitzel.
