Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g minced pork
  • 100 g glass noodles
  • 2 spring onions
  • 2 small peppers, red
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce, preferably dark, which is a bit sweeter
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • ½ tsp chili paste, red
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 120 ml broth, clear or water

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Chinese minced meat on glass noodles

Soak the glass noodles in hot water according to the package instructions (usually about 10 minutes). Mix the minced pork with the sugar, soy sauce, starch, and chili paste. Finely chop the spring onion and chilies (pepperoni). Heat the oil in a wok, first briefly fry the onion and chili, then add the meat and fry until crumbly. Add the drained glass noodles, mix well, and pour in the broth. Simmer over low heat. When the broth has reduced or evaporated, serve on warmed plates.
