Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 120 g quark
  • 2 tbsp sour cream or sour cream
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 4 tbsp flaxseed, finely ground
  • 4 tbsp applesauce
  • 2 tbsp apple, very finely diced or grated apple
  • 1 dashes lemon juice
  • some cream of tartar baking powder
  • 6 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds, ground
  • possibly oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Beat the egg until frothy. Combine the quark, sour cream, and flaxseed with the baking powder, applesauce, and the apple pieces drizzled with lemon juice. Add to the egg and stir until a nice, even batter forms. Pour into buttered, ovenproof serving dishes. Now make the crumble by kneading all the ingredients until it reaches a crumbly consistency. If it’s too dry, add a little more oil. Distribute the crumble over the mixture in the dishes and bake the casserole in an oven preheated to 180°C (350°F). Baking time may vary depending on the amount. For single-serve dishes, bake for approximately 30 minutes.
