Apple and onion chutney with green pepper from Rosinenkind

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg apples, peeled, diced
  • 2 onions, peeled and finely diced
  • 200 g sugar
  • 150 ml balsamic vinegar, white
  • 350 ml cider, sweet or dry nB
  • 3 tbsp pepper, green from the jar
  • 2 tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Combine all ingredients in a sufficiently large pot and simmer over low heat until thickened, seasoning to taste if necessary. Pour the mixture to the brim into the prepared twist-off jars and let cool.
