Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 150 g spring onions
- 20 g clarified butter
- 500 g apples
- 500 g potatoes
- salt and pepper
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- 400 ml cream
- 150 g cheese, Geyerzer
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
Heat the fat, slice the onions into thin rings, sauté, and arrange in a greased dish. Peel the potatoes and apples and slice them thinly. Layer them over the onions. Season with salt and pepper. Grate the cheese and mix with nutmeg and cream. Pour over the potato and apple mixture and season with more pepper. Bake for 45 minutes at 200°C on the second rack from the bottom.
