Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 800 g apples
  • 200 g sugar
  • 250 g raisins
  • 200 g hazelnuts, whole
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 tsp cocoa
  • 2 tbsp rum
  • 1 pack of gingerbread spice
  • ½ bottle of butter-vanilla flavoring
  • 75 g butter for spreading

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 13 hours 25 minutes

Peel and grate the apples, sprinkle with sugar, and let them sit overnight. The next day, mix all the ingredients, knead together, and form two loaves. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking sheet with baking foil. Place the loaves on the baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes. Brush the loaves with butter while they’re still warm.
