Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 apples
  • 3 lemons
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 packet of pudding powder (vanilla)
  • 1 cake base (sponge cake), light
  • 1 cup of cream

Peel, core, and coarsely grate the 4 apples. Squeeze the lemons and mix the juice into the grated apples. Now add the cup of sugar and the cup of water, as well as the sachet of vanilla pudding powder, to the apple mixture. Pour everything into a saucepan and bring to a boil briefly. Allow the mixture to cool slightly and then spread it on the sponge base. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form and also add it to the apple mixture. Refrigerate everything; after about 2 hours, it’s ready to serve. Tip: I usually decorate the cream with a cake stencil by dusting cocoa powder over the cream to create a pretty pattern. A great recipe for summer, as this cake is very refreshing.
