Apple cake with almond topping II

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 60 g sugar
  • 60 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 700 g apples, grated
  • e.g. raisins
  • 1 ½ tbsp rum
  • 25 g sugar
  • Spice mix of:
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • some lemon peel
  • 1 pinch of clove powder
  • 1 pinch of ginger powder
  • 1 pinch of cardamom
  • 100 g butter, melted and cooled
  • 100 g almonds, sliced
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

(this time with shortcrust pastry) – quick and delicious

Grease and flour a 26 cm springform pan. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Form a shortcrust pastry from the dough ingredients, knead briefly by hand, and press into the pan. Peel and grate the apples, mix with the rum, sugar, and seasoning, and place on top of the dough. Bake in the center of the oven for about 35-40 minutes. Mix the almonds with the butter and the remaining ingredients, pour onto the hot cake, and bake for another 20 minutes. Let the cake cool in the pan.
