Apple cake with marzipan and almond flakes

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g flour
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, vanilla
  • 140 g butter
  • 90 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 100 ml egg liqueur
  • 400 g apples (2 large apples)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 100 g marzipan
  • 40 g almond flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cream the butter until fluffy, then continue beating with the sugar and eggs until very fluffy, then fold in the remaining batter ingredients. Spread the batter into a prepared small baking dish (approx. 22 x 20 cm). Peel and core the apples, and cut them into thin slices. Place them tightly together in the batter, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, grate the marzipan over them, and scatter the flaked almonds on top. Place the dish in the preheated oven at 180°C for 35-40 minutes (test with a skewer). Cover the cake with aluminum foil after about 15 minutes.
