Apple – root raw food, that’s what we actually say at Bremen

First, quickly peel the vegetables and apples and grate them finely. Mix with the lemon juice and a little sugar. Finally, stir in a little oil. Be sure to let it sit in the fridge for a few hours; this will make the raw vegetables nice and moist! It tastes especially good the next day. If you like, you can sprinkle some pumpkin or sunflower seeds on top before eating. Another tip: There are supposedly people who can’t eat raw apples or carrots without having an allergic reaction—like me. But once the raw vegetables have sat for a while, I can eat a lot of them without experiencing any problems. Perhaps others experience the same?
