Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 chicken legs
- 125 g diced ham
- 250 g mushrooms
- 1 bunch of spring onions
- 2 apples, sour, e.g. Boskoop
- 1 cup of sweet cream, 200 g
- 200 ml apple juice
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder, sweet

Wash the chicken thighs and dry them with a paper towel. Prepare a marinade from the salad oil, 1 level teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of paprika, and pepper, and marinate the chicken pieces in it for at least an hour, or preferably overnight. Halve or quarter the mushrooms depending on their size, slice the apples, and cut the spring onions into short pieces. Place them in a baking dish along with the ham cubes. Place the chicken thighs on the bed of vegetables. Pour over a glass of apple juice and half of the sweet cream. Bake in the oven at 180°C (convection oven) for about 40-50 minutes. Towards the end of the cooking time, pour the remaining cream over the chicken thighs. This goes very well with rice and a mixed salad. We recommend cloudy apple juice as a drink.
