Apple-cinnamon jam

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg apples
  • 1 pack of gelling sugar, 1:1
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 lemon(s), organic, the juice
  • some water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Wash, peel, and core the apples, then chop them into large pieces. Boil half of the apples with a little water in a saucepan until they become a puree. Add the gelling sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and the remaining apple pieces to the puree and mix well. Bring the mixture to a boil, skimming off any foam that forms. Boil the apple mixture for 4 minutes and then pour into hot, rinsed jars. Turn the jars upside down for 5 minutes. Give as a gift or eat yourself.
