Pineapple – Mango – Jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pineapple, ripe
  • 1 mango(s), ripe
  • 1 package of gelling sugar, 2:1
  • 6 tbsp rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

with rum, for 4 glasses of 450 g each

Peel the pineapple, cut into wedges, and remove the stem. Peel the mango, remove the stone, and chop everything into small pieces. Weigh (should yield 1 kg), stir the gelling sugar into the flesh. Cover and refrigerate for about 24 hours. Only then bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Let the mixture boil gently for about 3 minutes. Stir in the rum. Pour the mixture into prepared jam jars. Seal immediately. Shelf life: at least 1 year.
